During active stimulation, subsurface state is measured in real time. When performance deviates from expectations, corrective action is prescribed and executed immediately. The system then remeasures subsurface response within the same stage to validate results.

In field use, mid-stage intervention reduced cumulative perforation efficiency degradation by approximately 33 percent compared to untreated stages. More importantly, intervention altered the degradation trajectory rather than simply reacting after performance declined.
